Effect: Borrow a coin and have it marked and let the spectator hold it under a handkerchief. In their other hand, you place a circular brass box. When you whip away the handkerchief from the spectator, the coin instantly vanishes!
You do not touch the brass box; the spectator opens it and finds a slightly smaller brass box inside. Inside of that box is another brass box, and inside of that is another brass box. Inside of the last brass box is their signed coin!
From the instant the coin vanishes, you do not touch the brass boxes. The suspense builds as the spectator opens up each box, and they begin to realize what is about to happen. And eventually, the full impossibility sets in: if it took them 30 seconds to open the boxes and retrieve the coin, how could the coin appear inside the boxes instantly?
This high-quality set of boxes fit inside your pocket, so you can be ready with a miracle at a moment's notice. After the trick, they can examine all four of the boxes. There are no slits, trapdoors, or magnets. The Nest of Boxes is a time-tested classic, and this version is the best one we've seen. We also recommend using this in conjunction wit the Rattle Box for a phenomenal close-up routine that will even play to large audiences.
