The cost of the camp is $1,895 and includes room, board, and a host of additional surprises. Campers will attend daily workshops, lectures, morning classes and professional, evening magic shows.
If your child is arriving to Magic Camp via air travel, we do offer bus service to and from the Philadelphia airport (PHL). Please see our guidelines below.
Philadelphia Airport Shuttle
If your child will be flying to Magic Camp, there are certain airline imposed age restrictions that must be considered. If your child is a first time camper and/or is under the age of 16, please contact the travel coordinator Danielle Wagner at travel@tannens.com to review flight options before booking your child's flight. We cannot take on the responsibility of picking up or dropping off children who are required by the airline to fly as unaccompanied minors unless it is prearranged with the travel coordinator. Additional fees will apply. The age at which a child is permitted to fly without assistance varies between airlines. Here are some examples:
Southwest: ages 12 and older
JetBlue: ages 14 and older
American, Delta and US Air: ages 15 and older
United: ages 16 and older
Please keep these age restrictions in mind when looking for flights. We require all campers arriving by airplane to follow each airline's individual unaccompanied minor policies and register with the airline as such. We will not accept campers not properly registered with the airline they are traveling on.
If your child is traveling internationally, please contact Danielle at travel@tannens.com before booking flights to coordinate and discuss options.
Train Travel
We also offer accompanied train travel from Penn Station, New York to Ardmore, PA. The fee for this service includes a Magic Camp Staff chaperone and shuttle bus service between the Ardmore train station and Bryn Mawr campus. You will be responsible for purchasing an Amtrak ticket on the designated trains. To find out more information about the train, please contact travel@tannens.com
All escorted travel arrangements include linen service at camp.
