Hydrostatic Highball Glass
Regular price $35.00 Out of StockThe Hydrostatic Glass trick is a classic of magic, and has been performed by some of the greatest magicians in history!
Effect: This trick starts as a demonstration of a classic parlor trick. The magician takes a full highball glass, covers it with a coaster, and turns the whole unit upside down. Many of us remember from school that if they let go of the coaster, it will stick to the rim of the glass and no liquid will fall out. But to take this one step further, the magician removes the coaster and the liquid remains suspended in the glass! The magician asks a spectator to snap their fingers, and as soon as they do, the water falls out, as if gravity can be turned on or off like a switch!
This is the best quality hydrostatic glass we've found. While most of these props are made from cheap plastic, this version is made from a shatter-proof acrylic and actually looks like a highball glass that you'd find at home or at the bar. And thanks to the small size of a highball glass, there's way less of a mess to be made. You don't need a giant bowl or pitcher to fill the glass in front of your audience - just fill the glass from a cup or bottle of water and you're ready to perform!
Due to its size and that it's such an innocent-looking prop, it's a perfect routine for the close-up worker/table or bar magician.
