The original Matrix Art was our best seller of 2020, and it's easy to see why: it's visual, it's easy to do, and the method is just as clever as the effect. Understandably, the limitations of the gimmick involved meant that you couldn't show the other side of the card. Now, Michael Chattelain has improved the gimmick, allowing you to show both sides of the card!
The effect: remove a card from the deck, and punch four holes, one in each corner. Instantly and visually, the holes jump around the card from corner to corner, and finally they jump back to where they started. The audience can see the card on both sides with no switches, double lifts, or top changes.
There's no sleight of hand required for the basic effect here. You can reuse the same gimmick many times, so there's no need for refills. Each gimmick is hand made and takes hours to make. The method is so ingenious that some have even said to us that it's better than the effect!
